The University of Sheffield has been discovered to be one of the nine UK universities that produce the most CEOs.

Data was analysed from 26,000 former students to find the universities with the highest ratio of graduates to chief executives, chief technology officers or partners.

It was found that 2.3% of students graduating from Sheffield have gone on to become the top leaders in business. They are also eager to launch their own business or joining a start-up.

The University of Sheffield is a world top-100 university and a leader in teaching and research. This combination equips students with the skills to put their ideas into practice using innovative ideas.

Emolument, a crowd sourced pay-data website, found that “alumni from Sheffield… are less likely to be wooed by big banks or consultancies” “...and therefore more eager to launch their own business or joining budding start-ups.”
